I was born and raised in Victoria, BC. I attended the University of British Columbia where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in First Nations Studies and a minor in English Literature. In 2008, I was accepted at the UBC Faculty of Law, where I am currently pursuing my Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in both criminal law and Aboriginal law.

I am a member of the Metis Nation of BC, and am very proud of that heritage. Being from a dual background affords me the opportunity to bring a unique perspective to discussions on Aboriginal rights and issues facing Indigenous peoples. My ancestry traces back to key participants in the Red River and Northwest Rebellions. Because of this, I approach every task from an Aboriginal perspective and keep with me at all times the principles for which many of my family members gave their lives. Please contact me using the above link if you would like to know more.

In 2004, I was selected from thousands of participants to appear in a marketing and advertising package for Goldwell products. Although I had never previously sought out a modelling career, this opportunity inspired me to pursue that avenue. I was signed to an agency in Vancouver in 2006 and have been with them ever since.

In my spare time beyond my studies and modeling, I enjoy writing. You can check out links to my Fashion Blog and general Blog above, as well as find a link to a page where you can download several of my short stories. My style is very postmodern. I write in the same way that I see that world. I am also a collector of pandas. I have a collection of nearly 3,000 panda items that I have been amassing since I was eight years old. My other interests include trains, fashion, and mental illness/learning disabilities.
