Below you will find a sampling of some of the short stories I have written. With the exception of "Partners in Crime", none of these have been published outside this website. I am not seeking publication; I write for my own enjoyment. I am happy to share what I have written with those of you who are interested in reading it, but please obey these few rules:

The story of a lonely man with nothing in his life who is troubled by alcoholism and the loss of everything important to him. His life is dull and meaningless until it all changes one day...

A man with a wife and children is driven to the depths of his despair. Suddenly, something snaps and he finds himself trapped in a time bubble. Everyone around him begins to age backwards, while he is frozen in place. As people become younger and younger, he realizes that he must do something.

Sampson is a Starbucks employee with a developmental disability. The nature of his disability means that he is able to do little more than clean spills and trash up inside the store. Byron works across the street. He has dyslexia, but his boss refuses to accommodate his needs. One day, Byron snaps, and takes a loaded shotgun into Sampson's store...

Gordon awakens one day to find himself chained in the bottom of a well. He stays imprisoned, searching for an escape, until one day he finds that he has been freed from his chains...

A semi-autobiographical piece inspired by the construction of the UBC Law building during my first year of law school. Previously published in UBC Law's artistic magazine, Esoteric for Spring 2009.
